I am currently watching Friends — a very popular American movie series. I have never watched it before and my friends kept telling it was very funny.

So, I found that it was freely available to download at my ISP’s website, and what is interesting — it was in English. Yay!

In Uzbekistan (and in Russia too, from where we import all the DVDs), all foreign-language movies get dubbed into Uzbek (and Russian, respectively). During this process, some moments are often translated or interpreted differently. And the movies aired on the national TV always get censored — kissing, sex and explicit scenes are cut.

So, I am currently enjoying the original-language and uncut version of Friends.
